The design was tested and finalised with the aid of a championship winning coach and the result is an excellent novice or junior grade beatboard. The board is a 3/4 size and uses marine bonded ply wood for the top and a simple zinc plated steel frame with 3 springs. The springs are the same as those used for the more competitive Sportmat recoil board, but their spacing and the design of the Liteboard gives it a nice easy bounce - ideal for the young novice gymnast. The top of the beatboard is fully padded and upholstered in heavy duty carpet. Recommended for kindergarten to year 2 children.
