The design of this heavy duty basketball tower has been proven with many years of service with councils, schools and even prisons around New Zealand. The design features a post fabricated from 150 x 150mm RHS steel which supports a full steel frame for the backboard with an overhang of 2.4 metres. (Pictured is our 1.2m overhang tower.)
Top stays maximise the durability of this unit. All steelwork is hot dipped galvanised for ultimate corrosion protection and it comes with a powdercoated finish. The backboard is international size and is manufactured from glass. It comes with a galvanised Samson Non Sprung Basketball hoop (G030/035G) and net. Height from ground to hoop is 3.05m.
The post can either be permanently concreted into the ground or the optional ground sleeve (G060/040) can be used which means the tower can be removed. NB: Some assembly may be required. Please enquire for details.

Available for purchase separately are a heavy duty bolt on hoop fixing kit or a removable security hoop fixing kit. You may choose to pay a little extra and have the new design galvanised competition grade sprung hoop for more serious play.
